DRY TYPE TRANSFER PAPER FOR NATURAL LEATHER, AND TRANSFER PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry type transfer printing method for natural leather satisfying the quality, cost delivery and ecological aspects.

SOLUTION: A transfer paper sheet is produced by printing or applying an ink containing a reactive dye onto a transferring paper sheet. A transfer operation is carried out by pressuring and applying a heat treatment to the transfer paper sheet in a state closely contacted with a natural leather material. Then, a wet heat fixing treatment is applied thereto in a condition with its form maintained without the risk of damaging the leather so as to provide a transfer paper sheet used for a dry type copy printing method. The transferring paper sheet includes a mold releasing agent layer made of an organic solvent-soluble synthetic resin and an ink receiving layer as its upper layer made of a hydrophilic synthetic resin to be softened or molten by heating, hydrophilic sizing agent and various kinds of auxiliary agents as layers or in a mixed state laminated.
