<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transfer system wherein information can be acquired according to time required for viewing the broadcast wave of a predetermined broadcast station by the television, and to provide a television and a transmitting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When the television 12 receives a broadcasting wave from a predetermined broadcasting station, a message indicating that a GUI is provided when receiving the broadcasting wave for predetermined time is notified from a server 11. When the television 12 receives the broadcasting wave for the predetermined time after the notification, the television 12 notifies the server 11 of a message of receiving the broadcasting wave several times. When receiving the notification from the television 12, the server transmits an encrypted GUI 41 and a decryption key 42 necessary for decrypting the encrypted GUI 41 to the television 12. Every time the server 11 receives notifications several times, the server 11 transmits a part of the decryption key 42 divided into the same number of portions as the plurality of notifications to the television 12 and transmits the GUI 41 to a PC 41.
