<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color electrophotographic image forming apparatus capable of performing printing with the same image quality as a cartridge in which a process cartridge and a developing cartridge are integrally composed by certainly positioning each of developing rollers to each of electrophotographic photoreceptor drums. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 100 includes: bosses 43 provided in developing cartridges 30-33; holes 54 and 55 engaged with the bosses 43 and provided in a process cartridge; and a positioning mechanism. The positioning mechanism makes the bosses 43 disengaged from the holes 54 and 55 and holds the developing cartridges 30-33 at an outside position O2 where the developing cartridges can be drawn when a front door 28 moves to an opening position Q. The positioning mechanism makes the boss parts 43 engaged with the holes 54 and 55 and holds the developing cartridges 30-33 at an image formable position G where image forming is possible when the front door 28 moves to a closing position P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
