<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust an electrode position to fit a user's foot size. <P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for measuring biological impedance is provided with a scale (a placing part) 2 for the user to place right and left foot sole surfaces, and impression electrodes 10 and measuring electrodes 11 arranged on the upper face of the scale 2, on the toe side and heel side of the respective foot sole surfaces. The electrodes 10, 11 on the toe side and heel side of each foot sole surface are provided adjustably in the spacing L by an electric motor (an electric means) 20. A control device 13 is provided for selecting a foot size statistically determined beforehand, by the input of physical data such as the user's age, sex, height and weight and moving to adjust the spacing L of the electrodes 10, 11 on the toe side and heel side of each foot sole surface by the electric motor 20 to fit the selected foot size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
