<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma pesticidal lamp capable of killing insects by using a plasma more effectively than the conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The plasma pesticidal lamp A2 includes a plasma-generating portion 3 for generating the plasma by an atmospheric microwave plasma-generating source, and plasma-controlling means 4 for allowing the plasma-generating portion to output the plasma. The pesticidal lamp also includes an insect approach-detecting sensor 7 for detecting the approach of insects and outputting a detection signal. The plasma-controlling means includes means for enabling the plasma-generating portion to enlarge the output plasma based on the detection signal input from the insect approach-detecting sensor when an insect approaches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
