PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric equipment including a display device in which neat design can be secured during non-display period and visibility and a recognition property are excellent during display period. SOLUTION: The electric equipment is provided with a display device in which a cover 20 in which hard transparency processing is performed on the surface of a case 10 of the electric equipment, a display room 31 is provided at the back side of the cover 20. In the display room 31, a light transmission body 40 is arranged and a part of the light transmission body 40 is projected toward a front of the cover 20 from the nearly central part of the interior wall of the display room 31, a LED 60 is arranged at the opposite side to the projected part of the light transmission body 40, also left and right wall planes 31a of the display room 31 are formed stepwise so as to widen toward the cover 20.
