PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of saving a space for arranging a scirocco fan and improving the efficiency of cooling a power supply unit. SOLUTION: The projector is provided with the power supply unit 5 constituted by arranging and stacking a circuit substrate 531 of a light source drive block 53 for driving a light source and a circuit substrate 511 of a power supply block 51 for supplying electric power to each constituent element including the circuit substrate 531, the scirocco fan 6 arranged at a side of the power supply unit 5 to discharge air to the power supply unit 5, and a duct 521 for leading the air discharged through a discharge port 62 of the scirocco fan 6 to the power supply unit 5. The scirocco fan 6 is arranged by being tilted to make the direction of discharge of air from the discharge port 62 close to the direction of the stacking of the circuit substrate 511, 531.
