PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spreader capable of performing a plurality of kinds of container cargo handling by a simple structure and detecting radiation from the whole surface of a container, even in containers of different sizes, in the spreader for container cargo handing having radiation detecting sensors. SOLUTION: This spreader 1 to be used for cargo handling of the container 30b for marine transportation includes a body and a pair of turning arms 3a and 3b installed in the body. One end of each of the turning arms 3a and 3b is installed in the body via a rotation mechanism, while a connecting tool 7 for connecting to the container 30b is installed at the other end. The radiation detecting sensors 12 and 13 are installed on lower surfaces of the body and the turning arms 3a and 3b, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
