PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of spraying a coating material to a building which can attain the availability of a wall facing for a building, as a substitute for tiles, with "new sensation and a varicolored pattern", which is free from the possibility of peeling and falling-away and besides, has a varicolored pattern as a substitute of tile, and further, costs just as much as when the tile is applied. SOLUTION: A first to a third spray coating material 7, 8 and 9 of differing color are each simultaneously applied, in a globular shape, to the surface of a resin mortar 23 formed on the wall surface 22 of a building. Next, the sprayed globular-shape first to third spray coating materials 7, 8 and 9, are levelled off under pressure, and a fourth spray coating material 10 of a different color from the first to the third spray coating material 7, 8 and 9, is applied to the entire surface of the first to the third spray coating material 7, 8 and 9 and the exposed surface of the resin mortar 23 by surface layer spraying, right from above the spray coating materials 7, 8 and 9 which are levelled off under pressure. Finally, the surface of the fourth spray coating material 10 through with the surface layer spraying process, is polished flatly until the surface of the first to the third spray coating material 7, 8 and 9 become exposed.
