The present invention relates to the systems alerting the vehicles' drivers of the objects, in particular pedestrians, bicyclists, animals, that are crossing or intend to cross the road either in the zone of a crosswalk, or in the adjacent areas, or in any other section of the road. The present invention may be used in the car manufacturing industry (as a built-in warning system), and in road construction/maintenance (providing for higher safety of the road infrastructure). The present invention is described as the system that alerts the vehicles' drivers of the objects that are crossing or intend to cross the road within the controlled area to which the vehicle is approaching. Such system combines means of detection, consisting of at least one detection sensor interacting with at least one status control sensor for the detection zone; means of control interacting with the said means of detection and with means of notification; and means of notification, consisting of at least one warning system installed over and/or alongside the road and interacting with the said means of control, and/or warning system installed within the vehicles and interacting with the said means of control. |
