The plate (1) has a recess (A) provided for passage of a pumping stamp, and a venting groove (2) formed for ventilation of a filling space. A shape-complementary insert (3) is formed for completely locking the venting groove, where the plate is inserted into a collection container of a pasty medium melting and/or conveying device. The plate is formed such that the filling space for a pasty medium is formed between the plate and a base of the collection container. The insert is made of heatproof plastic, metal or metal alloy.
