The device (1) has a container (4) and a temperature sensor (30) for detecting temperature of the water in a water seal. A gate valve (22) is attached to a drain (18). The gate valve opens the drain depending on the temperature detected by the sensor, when the temperature of the water seal falls below the preset least temperature value and closes the drain when the temperature sensor exceeds the least temperature.
