When the interface unit (310) has acquired a write command which includes disc designation information and first region designation information and has also acquired the data to be written, the drive control unit (320) writes the data in the storage unit (340) as well as registers, in a map table, second region designation information linked to the disc designation information and first region designation information, said second region designation information indicating the region of the storage unit (340) where the data has been written.
