<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which exhibits a dispersion stability excellent over a long period, and causes little density unevenness due to precipitation of an insoluble colorant. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises an insoluble colorant, a hollow particle or a microcapsule, and a dispersing medium.
