<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for board connection preventing positional shift of a board, and that, compatible with miniaturization and space saving. <P>SOLUTION: When a board for extension 100 is inserted into the connector for board connection 20, a lower-end corner of the former 100 comes in abutment with fitting parts 70 of board retention members 50. Then, the board for extension 100 is pressed downward and the fitting parts 70 are pressed sideways to have elastic arms 90 elastically deformed toward outside. Further, when the board for extension 100 is inserted, each terminal 104 comes in abutment with a connector pin of the connector for board connection 20 to be electrically connected, and at the same time, a recess 102 provided at either side of the board for extension 100 in an X-direction descends to a position corresponding to the fitting part 70 of each board retention member 50. With this, the fitting parts 70 of the board retention members 50 are fitted with the recesses 102 by spring force of the elastic arms 90. Accordingly, the board for extension 100 is retained at an insertion-completed position as the fitting parts 70 of the board retention members 50 are fitted with the recesses 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
