<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wall material fitting for mounting an external wall material to wall backing without driving fasteners such as nails and screws directly into the external wall material and mounting the external wall material cut in a desired size to the wall backing to eliminate a small region even if the small region is left on the lower side or the like of an opening. <P>SOLUTION: The external wall material fitting 1 for use in mounting the external wall material 3 to the wall backing 2 of a building comprises an engaging metal fitting 4 engaged with the external wall material 3, and a fixing metal fitting 5 fixed to the wall backing 2 and engaged with the engaging metal fitting 4. The engaging metal fitting 4 is formed with a hook part 7, a locking piece 10 and an insertion part 8. The fixing metal fitting 5 is formed with a fixing plate 17 provided with a locking part 11, and a guide part 9.
