<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve design and usability by adopting a push-pull lock as a lock of a new door held in an indoor side aspect face of an existing door frame in a remodeled door and restrained in thickness. <P>SOLUTION: Lock mechanisms of the push-pull lock 3 are separately enclosed in a vertical pair of lock cases 31 and fixed to the indoor side aspect face of the new door 2, and a handle 34 is fixed using the lock cases 31 as pedestals to directly fit the handle 34 to an outdoor side aspect face. A box-like attached member 5 with a narrow width of about 30 cm provided with latch receiving holes 51 penetrating to receive and lock latches 32 of the upper and lower lock cases 31 is fixed to a door end side vertical frame 11 of the existing door frame 1. The push-pull lock 3 built in the assumed door thickness of 5-6 cm or more can be installed in the new door 2 with a thickness of 4 cm by the regulation of the existing door frame 1.
