<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment method and a wastewater treatment apparatus which quickly and stably carry out wastewater treatment by nitrifying bacteria and anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria, coexisting in the same treatment tank. <P>SOLUTION: A nitrification carrier 22 dominated by the nitrifying bacteria and a denitrification carrier 24 dominated by the anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria are made to coexist in the treatment tank 20. Therefore, in the treatment tank 20, both of the nitrification reaction by the nitrification carrier 22 and the denitrification reaction by the denitrification carrier 24 are carried out to decompose the ammoniac nitrogen in wastewater into a nitrogen gas. The nitrifying bacteria and the anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria are fixed on the mutually different carriers (the nitrification carrier 22 and the denitrification carrier 24), so that adjusting of the volume ratio (the throwing-in ratio) of the nitrification carrier 22 and the denitrification carrier 24 easily controls the bacteria amount ratio of the nitrifying bacteria and the anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
