摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus which has a reduced thickness, is simplified in configuration, has a good assembly property and is capable of improving positional accuracy between mirrors. SOLUTION: The image reading apparatus includes: a curved mirror unit 1A including a subject-side curved mirror 3a and an imaging device-side curved mirror 3b which are formed integrally; a curved mirror unit 1B including a subject-side curved mirror 3a and an imaging device-side curved mirror 3b which are formed integrally; and a planar mirror unit 2 including a subject-side planar mirror 2a and an imaging device-side planar mirror 2b which are formed integrally. The curved mirror units 1A, 1B are mounted to the planar mirror unit 2, thereby configuring an optical unit 100. In each optical cell, light A0 from a subject is bent by the subject-side planar mirror 2a, reflected by the subject-side curved mirror 3a, reflected by the imaging device-side curved mirror 3b, bent by the imaging device-side planar mirror 2b and made incident on an imaging device 7.
