PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system which can prevent a resident and a suspicious person who is breaking into a house from running into each other. SOLUTION: An intercom master 1 includes a storage part 17 for storing a receiving history of a break-in detection signal sent from a security sensor 3, after a point when the security sensor 3 is set to a warning mode of performing break-in detection operation of the suspicious person, as detection history information. A remote controller 4 includes an operation input accepting part 40 for inputting an instruction for sending a history demand signal for demanding the detection history information of the security sensor 3 to the intercom master 1. When the intercom master 1 receives the history demand signal from the remote controller 4, the intercom master reads out the detection history information of the security sensor 3 from the storage part 17 and outputs it to an intercom slave 2 via a master telephone call section 10.
