PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in a size by achieving a reduction in an insertion force in a connector capable of detecting a half-fitted condition. SOLUTION: A connector 1 includes a pair of housings 3, 5 fitted to each other and a detecting member 7 fitted to the pair of housings 3, 5 to detect a half-fitting condition between the housings 3, 5. The connector includes: a rib 21 formed so as to protrude from the male housing 3 and having inclined faces 17, 19 formed such that the both faces incline towards a fitting direction and a fitting-release direction of the pair of housings 3, 5 from a vertex 15, respectively; and an arm 23 formed in the female housing 5 in a bendable manner, abutting on the inclined face 17 inclining towards the fitting direction when the pair of housings 3, 5 are fitted, and, when exceeding the vertex 15, abutting on the inclined face 19 inclining towards the fitting-release direction so as to draw the male housing 3 on a side of the female housing 5.
