PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock ring inserting device for smoothly inserting a lock ring. SOLUTION: The lock ring inserting device is used for moving the lock ring 5 in the inserting direction when inserting the lock ring 5 into a space (s) between a storage groove 4 formed in the inner face of a socket 2 of a joint porion and extending in the peripheral direction and the outer face of a spigot 1, through an opening portion 8 passing from the outer face of the socket 2 through the storage groove 4 along the peripheral direction. It includes a mounting frame 21 detachably provided along the outer periphery of the socket 2, and a plurality of feeding rollers 23 lined in parallel on the mounting frame 21 in a range from the opening portion 8 in the opposite direction to the inserting direction, each feeding roller 23 being arranged at a position gradually farther from the outer face of the socket 2 as being farther from the opening portion 8, at least one of the feeding rollers 23 being a driving roller (r) to which rotating force is imparted manually or by a drive mechanism, the driving roller (r) having contact with the lock ring 5 to move the lock ring 5 in the inserting direction.
