PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase degree of freedom in layout by disposing an actuator at a space not easily influenced by other components and having spare room in an intake air control device for a vehicular engine having an intake system which includes a throttle body pivotally supporting a valve shaft of a throttle valve and is connected to a side surface facing an upper part of a cylinder head constructing a part of an engine body having cylinder axis line inclined forward or rearward, and having an actuator connected to the valve shaft. SOLUTION: The actuator 52 is disposed at an opposite side of a throttle body 38A, gripping the highest section 33a of a cylinder head 33, in such a manner that the actuator is put between an intake system component 36 disposed at an upper part of a head cover 34 connected to the cylinder head 33 and constructing a part of the intake system 35, and an upper surface of the head cover 34.
