PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure capable of quickly transmitting an impact load applied to a seat in side surface collision to a vehicle body floor without causing twisting deformation of a floor tunnel. SOLUTION: Floor cross members 40A, 40B extending in a width direction are provided at both left and right sides of the floor tunnel 12. An upper cross member 41 for connecting the left and right floor cross members 40A, 40B each other is provided so as to range over an apex part of the floor tunnel 12. Left and right side edge parts of a console box 30 are bonded to the upper cross member 41. The load transmitted from the seat to a side surface of the console box 30 at side surface collision is supported on the left and right floor cross members 40A, 40B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
