PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of buckling (wrinkles) incidental to temperature change during transportation and storage of a film roll in which a film obtained by laminating an optical film of thermoplastic resin and a protective film is formed into a roll shape. SOLUTION: A roll-shaped wound body includes a film roll 5 and a heat insulation sheet 8 that is arranged in a manner covering the surface of the film roll 5, wherein the film roll 5 is formed by laminating in a peelable manner, on one side of a long optical film composed of thermoplastic resin, a long protective film composed of thermoplastic resin having a different coefficient of thermal expansion than the optical film and by winding the laminate into a roll shape.
