PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating image data of respective layers of a printing plate of flexographic printing formed by laminating a plurality of laminated parts constituted by laminating one or more of layers of two dimensional images on a base material. SOLUTION: In each of at least two laminated parts of the flexographic printing plate formed by laminating the plurality of laminated parts constituted by laminating one or more layers of the two dimensional image by discharging liquid droplets and solidifying the same on the base material, the function showing the targeted edge points of the two dimensional images of the respective layers included in the respective laminated parts is set based on the edge points of the two dimensional images of the uppermost layers of the respective laminated parts, and the image data of the respective layers are formed by repeating the processes for forming the image data of the two dimensional images of the remarked layers based on the edge points of the two dimensional images shown by the image data of the layer one layer above the remarked layer and the edge points of the two dimensional images of the remarked layers shown by the set function while moving the remarked layers in series from the upper layers to the lower layers relating to the respective laminated layers in which the function is set.
