PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device such as a liquid crystal device that displays a high quality image. SOLUTION: A driving circuit drives the electro-optical device (100) having: a plurality of data lines (6a) and a plurality of scanning lines (11a) which cross each other; and a plurality of pixel parts (600). The driving circuit is provided with: an image signal supply means (500) for supplying image signals according to images to the plurality of data lines via an image signal line (300) for every n (n is a natural number) data lines; an image signal sorting means (7) for sorting the image signals supplied from the image signal supply means into each of the n data lines by selecting each data line included in the n data lines in a time series manner; and an adjustment voltage supply means for supplying voltage for adjusting voltage of the image signal line to a predetermined voltage in a period before the n data lines are selected by the image signal sorting means.
