<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording material having a high glossy feeling, excellent in ink absorbing properties and color developing properties, and also excellent in water resistance and moisture-proof blotting properties with high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the inkjet recording material is characterized in that a non-water absorbing substrate is coated with an undercoating layer coating liquid comprising a water-dispersible resin with a lowest film-forming temperature of ≥40°C, an alkali agent, and a boric acid or its derivative, and containing substantially no inorganic fine particle, and thereafter, a coating liquid for an ink receiving layer mainly comprising an inorganic fine particle with a mean secondary particle diameter of ≤500 nm and a polyvinyl alcohol or its derivative as a binder for the inorganic fine particle is applied thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
