<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which inhibits the deterioration of the image quality such as color mixing and bleeding by which a solid image section is not filled while maintaining outstanding water resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The image recorder 101 includes: an intermediate transfer body 10; a hardenability solution layer forming apparatus 12 which supplies a hydrophobic hardenability solution 12A containing a curable material cured by a stimulus from outside and a liquid absorption particle on the intermediate transfer body 10 to form a hardenability solution layer 12B; a liquid grant apparatus 13 which gives a permeability improvement liquid 13A to the hardenability solution layer 12B formed on the intermediate transfer body 10; an ink grant apparatus 14 which gives a water based ink 14A to a region to which the permeability improvement liquid 13A is given of the hardenability solution layer 12B; a transfer device 16 which makes the hardenability solution layer 12B to which the ink 14A is given contact with a recording medium P, and transfers the hardenability solution layer 12B from the intermediate transfer body 10 to the recording medium P; and a stimulus supply device 18 which supplies a stimulus which stiffens the hardenability solution layer 12B to the hardenability solution layer 12B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
