PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reception reproduction device, a content reception reproduction method and a program, allowing improvement of efficiency of download and reproduction of a content by preventing downloading the same partial content a plurality of times.

SOLUTION: This content reception reproduction device 1 includes: a play list acquisition part 11 acquiring a new play list; a play list storage part 12 storing the play list acquired by the play list acquisition part 11; and a play list duplication detection part 13. The play list duplication detection part 13 detects the partial content described in both the new play list and the play list except the new play list of the play lists stored in the play list storage part 12.
