<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an airbag, more stably discharging inner gas, and having further stabilized restraining capability of an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: Outer peripheral edges of two base cloths of an inside base cloth 2 and an outside base cloth 3 are mutually joined by sewing and adhesion to form a side airbag 1. An inner joint portion 4 regulating the separation of the both cloths 2, 3 is provided on the side of an occupant restraining portion R. A discharge hole 6 is provided at the center of an arcuate portion 41a formed on the lower end portion of a first inner joint portion 41. The arcuate portion 41a being taken as a surrounding portion 7, a part of the surrounding portion 7 is provided with a gas communicating portion 73 communicating between the inside of the side airbag 1 and the discharge hole 6, resulting in the more stable discharging of the inner gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
