<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically reliably connect a device body with an assembly when the assembly is attached to the device body, and to electrically reliably disconnect the device body from the assembly when the assembly is detached from the device body. <P>SOLUTION: When a process cartridge is attached to an image forming apparatus body from upward, when a protrusion 76a moves downward to a position shown in (C), a connected part 78 comes into contact with a connection part 128 and thus, the connection part 128 swings. When the protrusion 76a moves downward to a position shown in (D), the connection part 128 moves according to movement of the connected part 78, and positions of each terminal of the connected part 78 and each terminal of the connection part 128 are matched so as to approximately face each other.
