<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for a vehicle, reduced in irradiation of glare light, favorable in appearance, high in flexibility in design and excellent in marketability at a low manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A light source, a reflector for supporting the light source, and an extension positioned between an outer lens and the reflector are disposed in a lamp chamber formed by a lamp body and the outer lens and a rib which rises upward from an inner surface almost along a side end of the reflector is provided on the side end part of the reflector under the extension, by which reflecting light L6' which is emitted from a bulb 6 serving as the light source, is reflected from the reflector 5b and is directed toward a lower inner surface of the extension 8b is shielded by the rib 10 to prevent reflecting light L6" directed toward the extension 8b from forming glare light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
