PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel of a narrow frame width, and a method of manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel includes an array substrate 10, a counter substrate 20, a receiving pattern 60, a seal material 70, a liquid crystal layer and a sealing material 80. The receiving pattern 60 includes a first projection part 61 provided between the peripheral edge parts of a pair of sides facing each other of the array substrate 10 and the counter substrate 20, and a second projection part 62 provided between the peripheral edge parts of the other pair of sides facing each other of the array substrate and the counter substrate. The seal material 70 includes a first seal member 71 which includes a liquid crystal injection port 71a and is in contact with the first projection part 61, and a second seal member 72 attached to the end edge of the array substrate 10 and the counter substrate 20.
