PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle mount type image display apparatus capable of visually confirming an image at an optional position of a spectacle lens. SOLUTION: The spectacle mount type image display apparatus 1 includes a unit body 3 which has a driving circuit system of an image display panel 6 and is attached to a temple 105R of a pair of spectacles 100, and a light guide member 4 which is located in front of the spectacle lens 101R, and emits image light made incident from the image display panel 6 to observer's eyeball E, wherein the unit body 3 is provided with a guide 8 having a circular orbit P<SB>C</SB>with the center C of the eyeball as an origin O, and holding the light guide member 4 to be slidable along the circular orbit P<SB>C</SB>.
