PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation detector such as a measurement probe (diffusion reflection probe) used in a spectroscopic analyzer capable of measuring a desired plane region while sufficiently maintaining the amount of light. SOLUTION: The light irradiation detector constitutes a reflected light measuring device for observing the state of a measurement target by spectroscopic measurement of reflected light, and includes: a plurality of transmitting-side optical fibers disposed in an annular form and irradiating the measurement target with light through a lens; and receiving-side optical fibers for guiding light diffused and reflected by the measurement target into an optical detector. The transmitting-side optical fibers are disposed such that the end faces thereof are arranged substantially flush. The receiving-side optical fibers are disposed at the center of the transmitting-side optical fibers disposed in an annular form. The light irradiation detector includes bundle fibers fixing each fiber by setting the end faces of the receiving-side optical fibers at a position a predetermined distance behind the end faces of the transmitting-side optical fibers.
