PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection mechanism of a point which is applicable to both left installation and right installation with one construction for right and left installations instead of two constructions, which requires neither replacement of right and left lock rods nor disengagement between a primary lock rod and a sub lock rod, thereby reducing burdens such as factory production, field work, and storage. SOLUTION: In the point 30, joints 14a and 14b for connecting the lock rods 12 and 13 to a turnout side are attached to both end portions of these lock rods. The sub lock rod 13 is disposed on the upper side of the primary lock rod 12. An adjustment mechanism b is constructed at one end portion of the sub lock rod 12.
