PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor unit having a simple structure for weight reduction. SOLUTION: The in-wheel motor unit 21 is suspended on a vehicle body and outputs a torque of a motor 5 incorporated therein to a wheel 4. The in-wheel motor unit 21 includes: a knuckle 1 suspended on the vehicle body; an output shaft 6 for outputting the torque of the motor 5 to the wheel 4; a wheel hub 2 integrally rotatably connected to the output shaft 6 and integrally rotated with the wheel 4; and a unit case 3 of the in-wheel motor unit 21 incorporating the motor 5. The wheel hub 2 is rotatably supported on a first portion 1a of the knuckle 1 through a hub bearing 10. The unit case 3 is fixed to a second portion 1b of the knuckle 1 through a sleeve 11.
