PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal security device which secures safety by detecting an abnormality by monitoring contact points of switching elements periodically and whose operating ratio is improved by continuing control by operating it normally. SOLUTION: The detection of the abnormality and notification to a microcomputer and an upper device are made possible while continuing control by providing a microcomputer, an input/output circuit, and a comparison circuit. The microcomputer selects an operation program by a set value of the switching elements stored in a non-volatile memory without using the set value of the switching elements as it is by providing the non-volatile memory that stores a set value of the switching elements and a circuit that rewrites contents of the non-volatile memory only by a write-in request in the device.
