PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for correctly removing and cleaning deposits stuck to the upper/lower faces of a weight. SOLUTION: The cleaning device includes: a horizontal cylinder 15 where a first scraper 14 which scrapes the upper face of a weight 9 which is arranged at the required height position in the side of a second transferring means 2 and suspended by a suspending means 10, is attached to the tip end of the piston rod; a deposit recovering means 16 which is arranged between the first transferring means 3 and the second transferring means 2 and recovers deposits in the weight scraped by the first scraper 14; and a second scraper 17 which is attached to the deposit recovering means and scrapes off the deposits in the weight carried by a carrying means 11, wherein the first scraper is moved from the second transferring means side to the first transferring means side by the elongation operation of a cylinder, to scrape the upper face of the weight lifted by the lifting means, and successively, the suspending means is carried to the first transferring means side by the carrying means, so that the upper face of the weight suspended by the suspending means is scraped by the first scraper again, and the lower face of the weight is scraped by the second scraper.
