An absorptive article is provided, between the front surface sheet and the rear surface sheet thereof, with a material for imparting a cooling sensation, which contains an algefacient. The amount of the material for imparting a cooling sensation per unit area in the contact region of the front surface sheet, said region being that with which the wearer's excretory organs make contact, is greater than the amount of the material for imparting a cooling sensation per unit area in regions outside the contact region.
