<p>Stabilization of nitrogen fertilizer in biological waste products in liquid phase e.g. manure, fermented manure, slurry-manure mixtures, fruit water, residual broths produced from biogas plants, comprises chemically reacting volatile nitrogen fertilizer present predominantly as ammonium hydrogen carbonate with the mineral acids e.g. sulfuric acid, phosphoric acids and/or silica to produce non volatile ammonium salts of these acids, where ammonia emissions are reduced by storing and producing manure and the residual broth from biogas plants and the nitrogen cycle is widely closed. An independent claim is also included for a device for the stabilization of nitrogen fertilizer comprising liquid jet-liquid pump made from porcelain, sheathed steel or plastic e.g. Teflon(RTM: Polytetrafluoroethylene) or polypropylene (I), valve in the water supply (2), manometer for water supply with 3.5-5 bar (3), inlet tube with ball valve for mineral acids (4), container for mineral acid (5), propeller-stirrer, liquid jet mixer, pump for liquid jet mixer, slurry storage of 500-1000 m 3>, repository of biogas plants of 1000-3000 m 3>, intermediate container for treatment with mineral acids of 50 m 3>and lagoon of 5000-10000 m 3>.</p> |
