The simultaneous inmold decoration apparatus prevents simultaneous inmold decoration using a pattern having defects included in a decorative sheet, and as a result, improves yielding of decorative molded articles. To do so, an examining device (10) optically examines whether or not the pattern (91) of the decorative sheet (71) has a defect. In addition, a decorative sheet (71a) having a defect mark (86a) applied corresponding to a defective pattern (91N) is used. The defective pattern is skipped based on the defective mark by the apparatus (1) not to make alignment to prevent use of the defective pattern in simultaneous inmold transfer.
