METHOD FOR PERFORMING AN ELECTROHYDRAULIC ACTION ON AN OIL FORMATION AND A DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT SAID METHOD

The invention relates to oil production and can be used for carrying out works at depths exceeding 2000 meters. The method for performing an electrohydraulic action on an oil formation involves accommodating a down-hole device, which is connected to a ground power source (2), in a well (17) in the area for performing an action on the formation (18). The down-hole device (3) is designed in the form of a hollow cylindrical housing divided by baffles into sealed compartments. The device comprises the following electrically interconnected components: a charging unit (8), a unit (9) of storage capacitors (10) and a discharge unit provided with electrodes (11, 12). The device (3) is additionally provided with a switching means (14) that is accommodated in the cavity thereof, connected to a control board (1), interconnected with the power source (2) and is arranged in the same compartment as the unit of storage capacitors. Direct voltage from the ground power source (2) is supplied to the charging unit (8). The unit (9) of storage capacitors (10), when they are parallel connected, is charged to a required voltage value and is discharged. The value of direct voltage supplied to the charging unit is set within a range of 300-150 volts. The maximum voltage required for charging the unit of storage capacitors (10) is taken equal to 20-27 kilovolts. The invention makes it possible to produce oil at depths exceeding 2000 meters with a small-sized device and efficiently perform an areal action on the processed formation.
