Provided is a cooling device comprising: a heat exchange element (5), provided at the intersection of an external air channel and an internal air channel, that exchanges heat between external air and internal air; an opening (10), formed in the external air side of the housing, for intake of external air; and a connecting member (11a) that connects the opening (10) with the inlet (13) of an external air blower (12). The cooling device has sufficient cooling capacity due to the use of a configuration in which the center of the opening (10) and the center of the inlet of the external air blower (12) do not share the same axis.
