CONTINUOUS REGENERATION TESTING DEVICE FOR FILTER, AND CONTINUOUS REGENERATION TESTING METHOD OF FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for correctly, accurately and efficiently confirming and evaluating the long-term reliability and durability of a DPF installed in an exhaust system of a diesel engine.

SOLUTION: This continuous regeneration testing device 20 for a filter is equipped with: a PM generator 10 for generating particulate matter in gas; a high temperature gas manufacturing device 42 for manufacturing high temperature gas for filter regeneration; and a storage chamber 32 that stores a filter and has a temperature measurement controlling means on an inlet side. The PM generator 10 and the high temperature gas manufacturing device 42 are connected in parallel on the inlet side of the filter in the storage chamber 32.
