<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC tag capable of precisely discriminating the front and the back or the right and the left sides of a work with high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: At a predetermined communication position, communication is performed between an IC tag 1 fixed on the surface of a work W and a reader/writer 10 to discriminate the direction of the work W. The IC tag 1 is configured, as a passive tag type, to include a base body 2, and an IC module 3 and antenna 4 disposed on the base body 2. The antenna 4 includes a first antenna part 6 disposed at one side of the base body 2 and a second antenna part 7, disposed at another side of the base body 2, in series with the first antenna part 6, and the ends of the both antenna parts 6 and 7 are connected to the IC module 3. Since between the first antenna part 6 and the second antenna part 7, the directions of winding coils are reverse to each other and the number of winding the coils is made different by large and small amounts, when the work W is in the correct attitude, communication with the reader/writer 10 is enabled; and when W is in reverse attitude, communication is disabled, and thereby the direction of the work W is discriminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
