<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for separation of smoking areas capable of separating a smoking area without disposing a physical barrier in a room. <P>SOLUTION: The uniform air current is distributed to the whole surface from a wall surface at one side of a room as an object of separation of smoking area, and slit-like exhaust openings are respectively formed on upper and lower ends of the other wall surface opposed to the wall surface, thus the air flow (reduced flow channel), of which a speed is increased in the flowing direction, is formed at a main part of each wall surface in the room. As separation and backflow in the air current forming the reduced flow channel hardly occur, the air flow, allowing the cigarette smoke generated at a smoking area side to flow back to a non-smoking area side, is hardly generated when the smoking area is set on the lee. Accordingly, the environment where both smokers and non-smokers can comfortably stay can be achieved while keeping a sense of openness of the room. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
