PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use of an isolated human antibody or its antibody fragment directed towards at least one oxidized fragment of apolipoprotein B in the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition for therapeutical or prophylactical treatment of atherosclerosis by means of passive immunization. SOLUTION: In the use of an isolated human antibody or its antibody fragment directed towards at least one oxidized fragment of apolipoprotein B in the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition for therapeutical or prophylactical treatment of atherosclerosis by means of passive immunization, the oxidized fragment is IEIGLEGKGFEPTLEALFGK, and the antibody or its antibody fragment includes a variable heavy chain domain of a specific sequence and a variable light chain domain of a specific sequence.
