PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming images on an image forming medium while aligning the ends of the images with a position on the basis of a cut portion of the medium, irrespective of an increase in the cut portion of the image forming medium. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an acquisition means to acquire pieces of image information showing the images; a forming means to form the images shown by the pieces of image information acquired by the acquisition means on the medium; and a cutting means to cut the medium on which the images have been formed by the forming means; a determination means to determine the end portions to be cut and removed from the images based on the size of the cut portion of the medium cut by the cutting means, the size of the medium and the size of the image shown by the image information. The forming means is configured to form the images whose end portions have been cut and removed based on the determination by the determination means, on the medium while aligning the end portions of the images with the position on the basis of the cut portion cut by the cutting means. Accordingly, even when the cut portion of the image forming medium is increased, the images can be formed while aligning the ends of the images with the position on the basis of the cut portion.
